Our New (to us) Ford F-250 Diesel Truck!

Over the last few weeks I’ve been doing heavy research into different trucks. After looking over hundreds, if not thousands, of listings within a 200 mile radius of Chesapeake, VA, I found our new truck!

It’s a 2008 Ford F-250 Crewcab 4×4 with a 6.4L Twin Turbo and runs on magnificent diesel (which is only $2.50 in Virginia right now?!). The truck is clean and a lot of people I’ve talked to have said they are jealous, which is what I wanted to hear in case we decide to sell the truck down the road.

Now our adventure is truly beginning and we’re only about 3 weeks away from moving out of our huge 2 bedroom townhouse into a 27 foot travel trailer. For some this might seem like a drastic change, but Joelle and I are literally around each other all day already and the world is going to be completely open for business to us!

I’ll need to get the truck registered, get insurance, attach the hitch, fix the water heater in the RV, get the plumbing working, fix the wet spot, fix any leaks and put the new hardwood floor in.

It’s going to take a lot of work, but I’m ready!
