Our First RV Park Expectations

Our First RV Park Expectations

Justin and I, as I write this, are heading to Raleigh, NC for our very first trip!

We chose to go to Raleigh because of the distance it is for our first time traveling with the RV. The two of us having friends and Justin’s family here has helped with that decision. If anything were to happen on the road, we know that we have them so close for our first three months in Raleigh and it really helps. Now that is just our opinion. If you would like to venture off across the country your first trip, go for it, we wish we had your guts!

Once we get to Raleigh we will be staying at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort & Cottages. Thankfully we were able to find this place by using Good Sams RV Travel Guide online. One of our biggest reasons for traveling to Raleigh is for business and the fact that where we are staying is a great in between for being the right distance away and yet still close enough to the city. We don’t know what is in store for us but we are very excited to find out!

Note: The following pictures are from when we arrived at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort. Our next blog post is going to be about sharing our first weeks experience here.

The Journey Ahead Of Us Across America

So let me break it down for you on where we see our lives going this next year. Of course we are heading to Raleigh, NC, but a few months after that we plan on going to Nashville, TN and then either Austin or Houston, TX. Once we get a bit of experience, we’ll be wrapping up the years travels in Tampa, FL. Now these are the places we wish to go this year but aren’t definite. We both know things will change and other places will come to our minds but in the meantime this is our plan!

It’s going to be an exciting year, so we hope you join us on our Open Road Chronicles across America!
